The Union between the Sun Spirit and this Earth

For thousands of years, human beings were initiated into the secrets of the spiritual worlds through a death and resurrection experience. The events of Easter were foreshadowed in these ancient initiation ceremonies. The neophyte would be placed in the tomb for three days. During this time their soul would journey in the spiritual worlds until it reached the region of the Sun. When they returned, they would rise to a newness of life and awareness.

But when the neophytes could no longer reach as far as the Sun in their astral travellings, the time came for the Sun Spirit to incarnate and bring the Sun to the earth.

“Those ancient mystics walking with Christ could see the Sun Being in the body of Jesus. That Sun Being had come down from the heights that no one, not even in initiation, could reach. That Sun Being had come down and entered a physical body so that now we could perceive him, not only spiritually, but also with our senses. And if there is any miracle which we may call a miracle, that is it.”
