The Johannine Gospel is not a comprehensive or systematic Bible commentary. It is an intimate sharing of Rev Mario’s inmost musings as he explores and experiences this gospel. He wants us to understand our spiritual origins. He wants us to grasp what is displayed about our future in the life of Jesus Christ. He wants us to see the one who embodied for the first time in earth history the divine I AM and who, through the pouring out of his essence, made a way forward for all of us.

I wish, my dear friends, that you would study the Gospel of St John, for in knowing the Gospel of St John you know the development of your own Christhood. That is what the Gospel of St John is all about: the development of the I AM consciousness. The Gospel of St John is a superb text book in terms of the psychological progress of a human being. If you read the Gospel of St John you will find that there are seven signs which show, not so much the divinity of the Christ, but the process and the progress of evolution and how we will eventually become like Christ.
 
The Gospel of St John is a gospel of Christian initiation. It tells us of the development of the physical, etheric and astral levels in order to bring out the I AM so that we may have the spiritual equivalents and become a total seven. Each miracle tells us about it and each miracle takes us one step further…

Reverend Mario Schoenmaker loved the Gospel of St John and often reflected on it. In this collection, he assists us to navigate our way through eternity.
