Imagination is a spiritual faculty which enables us to grasp the language of spirit. In becoming aware of our inner images we become aware of the spiritual forces at work within us and around us. We know that some forces are not so beneficial to our evolution and therefore in becoming conscious of the images, we can also become discerning about what we shall build up within ourselves and what we shall discard. We can build up the image of Christ so that his living power becomes more manifest in our lives and deeds.

Focussing on imagination involves trusting yourself, and trusting the images which arise within you. Working with them and trying to understand them frees the mind from stultification and creates movement within us. Rev Mario once said, ‘Do you think that I am the only one who can do these things?’ He was meaning seeing images of spiritual reality. He said, ‘Why don’t you dare to trust your own intuition?’
