The Johannine Gospel - (00) Front Pages - PDF download

Christian Initiation and the Development of the I AM

The cover illustration is an artistic interpretation of an image described by Rev Mario during one of the Spiritual Readings he gave for The Centre. The image is of St John clinging to the feet of the crucified Christ, an image of the path to initiation.

The title pages indicate when this publication was first published and who revised the second edition.

The contents page sets out the three sections of The Johannine Gospel and the titles and page numbers of each discourse.

The introduction, written by the editor, provides an historical background to the giving of these lectures, in terms of when and where and why Rev Mario focused on the Gospel of St John. There are recommendations for pre-reading and there is an explanation of the revision.
